Development Partner

After developing over 15 million square feet of residential and office assets in Colombia, the Vergara family entered the U.S. real estate market in 2015 after living in South Florida for more than 20 years. Their U.S. operations are directed by second-generation developer Felipe Vergara, who spearheaded the ground-up execution of 111 First Delray, a five-story, 70-unit luxury condo tower in Delray Beach slated to be delivered in 2019, as well as a 40-acre, 16-lot, single-family home community in Southwest Ranches. With an impeccable track record spanning 40 years, the father-and-son team of Manuel and Felipe Vergara is committed to improving South Florida communities through sourcing value-add opportunities in exclusive locations and delivering quality homes tailored to meet and exceed market demands.

The Spear Group is a homebuilder based in South Florida. The family-owned and operated company has been active in South Florida since 1976. For over 40 years, The Spear Group has been a leader in developing residential communities, including single-family homes, townhomes, and condominiums, characterized by lasting quality and innovative design. The Spear Group has successfully planned and built more than 3,000 residences.

Gus Carbonell – Architect

Gustavo Carbonell is a Fort Lauderdale-based architect that’s been successfully in practice since 1981. He runs a full team of expert staff members and consultants that support design projects from start to finish, including design, planning, permitting, construction oversight, inspections and more. They take pride in delivering on a client’s vision on time and in budget. Over more than 35 years, Gus and his team have created many residential and commercial structures all over South Florida, which have earned them numerous design awards and civic honors.
